What is it?
Zapier is a tool that allows you to connect over 5,000 apps, including the @realty CRM, to automate workflows and transfers of data between different systems. Each of these is called a Zap.
How to set up Zapier
Firstly, you will need to go to https://zapier.com/ and create an account. Zapier does have a free tier, but pricing can be found here https://zapier.com/pricing.
How to Integrate with the @realty Cloud
Once the Zapier account has been created, login to the @realty Cloud and click on Resources → Zapier Invite
This will take you to this link https://zapier.com/developer/public-invite/124095/b332a8c496b4518d43ecf8918066334a/ where you can accept the Invite
What are Zaps?
A Zap is an automated workflow that connects your apps and services together. Each Zap consists of a trigger and one or more actions. When you turn your Zap on, it will run the action steps every time the trigger event occurs
How to Create a Zap
When logged into Zapier, you can create a zap by clicking on the + Create Zap button.
This will take you to the page where you can create a Trigger and an Action.
If you want to build a Zap using the @realty Cloud, then type in @realty in the search field and select @realty Cloud (1.0.0)
What are Triggers and Actions?
All Zaps start with a trigger that watches for new or updated data. They get the ball rolling. Everything a Zap does with that data, though, is done by actions. Zapier actions push or put new data into apps through API calls that pass data from user customised input fields.
@realty Triggers
The @realty CRM has 2 triggers:
New Contact
Whenever a new contact is added to the User’s database the Zap will trigger
Tag Added to Contact
Whenever a Tag is added to a Contact in the User's database, the Zap will trigger
@realty Actions
The @realty CRM has 1 action
Create Contact
A contact will be created in the User’s database when the Trigger from another system occurs
