How to create a listing record
A listing record can only be created from a Property Record, so the User needs to create the Property Record first.
Residential Listings
When clicked, the User will be able to select if the Listing is For Sale or For Lease.
Commercial Listings
Commercial properties will have the following options:
For Sale
For Lease
Both (this means the property is advertised as both for sale and for lease).
Conditions for creating a new residential listing record
If there is already a For Sale Listing Record with status = Draft, Active, Withdrawn or Under Offer the For Sale option will be greyed out
If the Property does not have a Management Record that is Active (only applicable to Residential Properties) then the For Lease option will be greyed out. However, this condition does not exist for Agents operating their own rent rolls.
If the User is not operating Rentals at all, then the For Lease option will NOT display for Residential Properties.
