Summary
The payment process is the same for every state except for WA. In all states @realty will provide you with the Trust Account Details and in WA the @realty office will provide you with BPAY details. Tenancy Pay IDs are used to identify incoming payments from tenants for easy trust receipting and payment allocation.
It is very important that the tenants use the Pay IDs when making payment, otherwise receipting can be missed causing delays.
Bank Account Details
When creating your first tenancy with @realty, you will need to contact the head office team to request the Bank Account details. Then you will need to find the Pay ID relevant to your tenancy.
How to find Pay IDs
The below applies to every state except for WA.
To view the tenancy specific Pay ID agents will need to create the Tenancy Record first, then the Tenancy ID can be used as the Pay ID.
A tenancy record should only be set up once you and your property owner have approved an application. Payments of rent and/or bond should not be processed until a tenancy application has been approved and the applicant is considered a tenant.
Tenants should be instructed to use this Pay ID in both the MESSAGE and REFERENCE fields of their online banking.
If they are paying monies in to Trust for anything other than their rental payments they need to put at the end of their Pay ID what the payment is for.
e.g. 1234 Bond or 1234 Water
WA Pay IDs
BPAY is required to be used in WA. When initially setting up a tenancy you will need to request the BPAY reference number from the @realty Rentals team. This needs to be done for every tenancy.
