How to create a For Lease Listing

This process will vary depending on whether you are operating your rentals with @realty or on your own.

If you are operating with @realty Rentals, then you will need to create a Property Record and a Management Record before you can create the Listing.

If you are NOT operating with @realty Rentals, then you will NOT need to create a Management Record, but you will need to create a Property Record first.

When in the Property Record, click on Create -> Create Listing 

If you have not created a Management Record for this property yet, you will not be able to select For Lease

But if you have created the Management Record, then you can select For Lease 

There is a $99 inc GST fee to advertise on the websites ($49 inc GST if you have your own REA account), so you will need to create a marketing campaign including this product. You can find this product by going to Online Advertising -> Residential Rental -> Select Fee 

Proceed to fill in the fields to complete the Listing. You can automatically create the headline and ad description using AI by clicking on Generate Header /Description. It is important to review and amend the AI generated wording. 

The following text will be automatically inserted into the description of the ad:

Failing to register may result in not being informed of any unforeseen or unplanned changes to inspection times. To register (or apply) for this property please click on the get in touch button and send your details to our agency. You'll receive an email back with instructions on how to register and apply via our website and booking service.

We do NOT accept 1Form, Ignite, 2Apply or any other online type of tenancy application form. You must apply using the the provided application link sent to you once you enquire.

It is an agency and owner policy that each person over the age of 18yrs old wishing to live at the property is required to apply and provide identification and supporting documents.

To inspect this property, you will be required to provide the agent onsite with your name, best contact number and email address. Failing to provide this information for security and safety reasons may result in being refused entry.

The Application Form link will be automatically inserted in the Application Link field and will display on the @realty website and your website if @realty has built your website.

A Let Only agreement will be required for agents operating their own rent roll. This is to give @realty permission to advertise the property using the @realty accounts (REA, Domain, etc.)

Lastly make sure the Rental Enquiry Response action plan is duplicated and turned on. This will automatically send an email to enquiries which will contain the application link for the property.
